Integration Details

The Aquera Agentic AI Bridge communicates with the ADP systems of record using ADP APIs through the ADP access permission configuration where the appropriate security permissions will be set. Each individual using the agentic platforms will only be allowed to see the ADP data and execute the ADP workflows that their user account security allows.

Supported ADP Applications

  • ADP Workforce Now®
    ADP Workforce Now Next Generation
    ADP TotalSource®
    ADP GlobalView®
    ADP Lyric
    ADP Vantage HCM®
    ADP Enterprise HR®
    ADP Recruiting Management®

Data Fields

  • Data access is governed by ADP role-based permissions and scoped to authorized workforce objects.

Based on client configuration and ADP permissions, accessible data fields may include:
    - Employee profile data
    - Employment status and lifecycle attributes
    - Job and organizational data
    - Compensation-related attributes (as authorized)
    - Workforce analytics data objects

All data access is evaluated in real time and controlled by ADP-native permissions assigned in ADP APIs.

Commitment to Responsible AI

Together with ADP Marketplace, our company is committed to the responsible use of AI. When incorporating AI into our product(s), we have agreed to comply with ADP Marketplace’s AI principles focused on human oversight, monitoring, privacy, explainability, transparency, and mitigating bias. How we use AI

  • The Aquera Agentic AI Bridge for ADP does not replace ADP’s decision-making systems or independently make employment-related decisions. Instead, it provides a secure, governed connection that allows MCP-compatible AI platforms (such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, and others) to interact with ADP systems of record in a controlled and permission-aligned manner.

The Bridge acts as an authentication, authorization, and mediation layer between AI platforms and ADP. It ensures that every AI request is verified using enterprise identity controls and evaluated against ADP’s native role-based permissions before any data is accessed or action is initiated. All interactions are logged to support auditability and compliance.

  • When AI systems generate responses, insights, summaries, or recommendations based on ADP workforce data, those outputs are derived from permission-aligned API interactions. The Bridge does not replicate or maintain an independent copy of ADP workforce data within its governance layer.

The Aquera Agentic AI Bridge does not make hiring, firing, promotion, compensation, or assignment decisions. Any AI-generated insights or recommendations are intended to support human decision-makers, who remain responsible for reviewing and determining appropriate actions.

Aquera monitors the performance and security of the Bridge infrastructure to ensure reliable, policy-enforced connectivity. The solution is designed to preserve ADP as the authoritative system of record while enabling responsible AI innovation.

Agentic AI Bridge Overview

The Aquera Agentic AI Bridge for ADP is setup behind the scenes to provide a secure, governed connection between AI platforms, including ChatGPT (Business and Enterprise), Copilot, Gemini, Claude, ServiceNow, Salesforce AI, and others, and ADP systems of record including ADP Workforce Now® and ADP Lyric. Users of the AI platforms have secure access to ADP data and workflow directly and seamlessly from their familiar AI platform interface. The Bridge enforces enterprise identity authentication and ADP-aligned role-based permissions to ensure AI systems access workforce data only within approved boundaries. Responses are structured and limited to authorized information before being returned to AI platforms. This architecture preserves ADP as the trusted system of record while enabling scalable AI interactions.

Agentic AI Bridge Overview

MCP-Based AI Connectivity

The Bridge uses the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to standardize communication between AI platforms and ADP systems of record. This enables organizations to connect multiple AI tools without rebuilding integrations, reducing complexity while maintaining governed, consistent interaction with ADP.

Enterprise Identity Authentication

Every AI request is authenticated through your existing enterprise SSO and identity systems. This ensures AI-driven access follows the same identity controls as human users, aligning machine activity with corporate authentication policies and strengthening overall security governance.

ADP Role-Based Permission Enforcement

Before any data is accessed, permissions are validated against ADP’s native role-based access controls. AI agents can only retrieve or act on workforce information within approved boundaries, protecting sensitive HR and payroll data.

Secure Pass-Through API Processing

The Bridge securely transmits authorized requests directly to ADP using mediated API calls. ADP workforce data is not replicated or persistently maintained within the bridge layer. This preserves ADP as the authoritative system of record while enabling real-time, governed AI interaction.

Structured, Permission-Safe Responses

Responses returned to AI platforms are formatted and limited to the specific data needed for the task. This ensures AI systems receive relevant, authorized information without exposing unnecessary workforce data.

Vendor-Neutral AI Support

The solution supports the leading AI platforms, including ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Claude, ServiceNow, and others. Because ADP connectivity is standardized through a centralized governance layer, organizations can adopt, expand, or replace AI tools without redesigning integrations, reducing vendor lock-in while preserving long-term flexibility.

Centralized Governance and Visibility

All AI-to-ADP interactions are routed through a centralized governance layer, providing visibility and administrative oversight while reducing shadow integrations and enforcing consistent security standards.

Comprehensive Audit Logging

Every AI-driven interaction is logged with identity and authorization context, providing traceability for compliance, internal review, and security monitoring in sensitive HR and payroll environments.
